Accounts : All enrolled Engineering Students are given accounts each semester on the Windows computers

Laptops / Tablets:

  • Two Gateway E295 Tablets (Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.20GHz) processor with 2 GB of memory, DVD-RW, no floppy drive loaded with Microsoft Vista / Office 2007 for use in the building only.
  • Gateway M675X laptop (3.0 GHz, P4) processor with 1 GB of memory, DVD-RW, no floppy drive loaded with Microsoft XP / Office 2007. Available for check out by Engineering faculty and staff.

Projectors:

  • Infocus 755 Projector with (1024 X 768 resolution) for use with Laptops in the building.
  • Dell 2400MP Projector with (1024 X 768 resolution) for use with Laptops in the building.
  • Traveling Projector for Faculty and Staff - Dell 2400MP Projector with (1024 X 768 resolution)
  • Two Projection Systems with Gateway M675X laptop (3.0 GHz, P4) processor with 1 GB of memory, DVD-RW, no floppy drive loaded with Microsoft XP / Office 2007 (Short setup)and a Infocus LP790 with (1024 X768 resolution). Can be hooked into the campus network in any of the teaching rooms or used stand alone. For use in the building.

Instructional Computer Labs:

  • Room 1039 - Teaching lab based on Microsoft Vista and Office 2007. Call the ESIG lab (766-5107) to reserve the room.
    25 - Intel Duo Core (2.66 GHz) computers with 4.0 GB Ram and dual 19 inch flat screen monitors
    Infocus projector (1024 X 768 resolution) available to the instructor.
  • Room 1041 - Teaching lab based on Microsoft Vista and Office 2007. Call the ESIG lab (766-5107) to reserve the room.
    25 - Intel Duo Core (3.16 GHz) computers with 4.0 GB Ram and dual 19 inch flat screen monitors
    Infocus projector (1024 X 768 resolution) available to the instructor.
  • Room 1034 - Small teaching lab/ conference room based on Microsoft Vista and Microsoft Office 2007. Call the ESIG lab (766-5107) to reserve the room.
    13 - Core2 Duo 2.2GHz, 4GB Ram and 24 inch flat screen monitors. DVD CD-RW drives available.
    Epson Projector (1024 X 768 resolution) available to instructor.
    Smart Board connected to instructor machine.
    VCR/DVD player attached to projector.
  • Group Study Rooms (1036, 1036A,1040,1040A) - Group study rooms with computer running Microsoft Vista and Office 2007. Tablets (Core Two Dual, 3GB Memory, Camera and Micrphone builtin) are available for checkout for each room.
    Samsunig 40" TV and White Board mounted in each room for presentation practice.

Remote Desktop Farm:

  • Farm - Computers in the farm are based on Microsoft Vista and Office 2007.

The cameras and microphones are available for checkout and use with Microsoft's NetMeeting.
