Engineers Compete for Scholarships November 07, 2011 — The Rocky Mountain Gas Processors Association (GPA) Chapter has established a program of awarding scholarships to area engineering students since their inception in 1996. The 2011 Rocky Mountain GPA Scholarship program had a record number of seven schools participate. University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Applied Science students competed with students from Brigham Young University, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, University of Utah, University of Colorado-Boulder and Metro State University for scholarship awards. From these schools, the program received 46 applications. Out of the 46 applications, they awarded 18 scholarships that ranged from $500 to $3,000 each. |
