Russian Edition of Barrett’s Embedded Systems Design Text Now Available

January 31, 2011 Steve Barrett and Daniel Pack’s book “Embedded Systems Design and Applications with the 68HC12 and HCS12” has been released in a Russian edition. The book, originally published by Prentice Hall in 2005, has already been translated into Chinese and also released in an India and neighboring countries edition. Pack and Barrett have co-wrote seven textbooks on microcontroller theory and application for Prentice-Hall and Morgan & Claypool Publishers. They are currently working on a textbook project for Texas Instruments on the popular MSP430 microcontroller. It will be released by Morgan & Claypool Publishers in June. Barrett serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Programs for the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Daniel Pack is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pack and Barrett have teamed on textbook writing since 2000.
