October 29, 2007 - University of Wyoming students interested in NASA summer internships are invited to attend an information session Thursday, Nov. 8, from 5-6 p.m. in Room 115 of the Classroom Building.

Members of the Wyoming NASA Space Grant Consortium (WNSGC) will discuss internships at NASA centers and in the aerospace industry. Past NASA interns will share their experiences, and information about opportunities available in 2008, including application instructions, will be offered.

NASA summer internships are open to undergraduate and graduate students in all science, math, engineering, and technology fields. The application deadlines range from middle to late January 2008. For more application information visit http://wyomingspacegrant.uwyo.edu/.

During the summer of 2007, four UW students participated in internships at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. They were Robert Grogan, an electrical engineering major from Gillette, Justin Hovland, a mechanical engineering major from Cody, Daniel Milligan, a mechanical engineering major from Green River, and Julie Sanberg, an electrical engineering major from Albin.
