Ettema and Bagley to Speak at Wyoming Water Association

October 29, 2007 - The University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Applied Science Dean, Rob Ettema, and other College faculty will speak at the Wyoming Water Association (WWA) Annual Meeting and Education Seminar that will be held in Cheyenne on October 31 through November 2, 2007. This meeting brings together water professionals from across the State to learn the latest technology advancements in water management and to examine the upcoming challenges for providing sufficient water to meet Wyoming's needs.

On October 31, in a noon session, Dean Ettema will address the challenges and direction for the College. Civil and Architectural Engineering Department Head, David Bagley, will talk on November 1 at 9:30 a.m. about the productive partnership between the UW civil engineering program and State water practitioners. In addition, Michael Urynowicz, associate professor from the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering will speak on October 31 at 2:30 p.m. about polyacrylimide (PAM) applications for improving water management in Wyoming.
