Senior Design Symposium

December 4, 2006 - On December 7, 2006, the UW College of Engineering will hold its 12th Annual Senior Design Symposium. Over 75 college seniors representing architectural, civil, chemical, petroleum, mechanical, electrical and computer engineering will exhibit and present 34 individual and team projects. Their projects will be judged by 28 judges representing business, industry, and the University.

The presentations are open to the public and will take place at the Wyoming Union on the University of Wyoming campus in the Family Room, the Yellowstone Ballroom, and the Senate Chambers. An awards dinner will be held the same evening to recognize students and judges.

Student presentations begin at 8:00 a.m., student exhibits can be viewed between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm in the Yellowstone Ballroom-East, and students will be available throughout the day to answer questions regarding their projects.

The UW College of Engineering, American Council of Engineering Consultants (ACEC), the National Science Foundation, PacifiCorp, the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, and the Volpi/Cupal Engineering Design Fund sponsor the program.
