Muknahallipatna Receives Best Paper Award

Sept. 25, 2006 - Suresh Muknahallipatna received the Best Paper Award at the 10th World Multi-Conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics (WMSCI 2006), held in Orlando, Florida, in July. His paper titled: Experimental and Theoretical Analysis of Storage Friendly TCP Performance in Distributed Storage Area Network, was selected as the best paper of those presented in the session: Communication Systems and Networks.

According to the Professor Nagib Callaos, General Chair of the WMSCI Organizing Committee, “the quality of papers like the one he presented, gave to the conference prestige and great success. Quality papers like his are highly appreciated, and they are a necessary condition for the success of the conferences.”

The WMSCI conference increased from 45 papers presented in 1995, to an average in the last five years of 2300 registered participants that participated in each of the yearly WMSCI and its collocated conferences.
