Jonathan received his B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 1986. After two years working for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company, he returned to graduate school at Penn State University where he received his PhD in 1993. After working for NASA-Ames Research Center for four years, Jonathan joined the University of Wyoming in 1997.

Manjinder Singh Saini is currently pursuing his PhD. under Dr. Jonathan W. Naughton and is working on  Flutter Suppression Using High Frequency, Co-operative Actuators. Manjinder finished his Bachelors degree in 1997 from Regional Engineering College, Durgapur, India and his MS in 2003 from University of Wyoming.

Vibhav Durgesh is currently pursuing his PhD. under Dr. Jonathan W. Naughton. He is working on the base drag reduction project. He did his undergraduate from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in India. He completed his MS from the University of Wyoming in Mechanical Engineering.

Richard Semaan is a PhD student currently working under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Naughton on swirling jet. Richard got his double masters in Engineering Mathematics and Turbulence at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He graduated as a Bachelor in Engineering from Notre Dame University, Lebanon.

Zhang Xu is a PhD student of Dr. Jonathan W. Naughton. His present work focus on development of a new type of dynamic resonant wall shear stress sensor. He worked at China Academy of Engineering Physics for three years before join the group.

Paul Medina pursued a Masters Degree under Dr Jonathan W. Naughton. His research work is an Experimental Study of a Resonant Fence Actuator in a Turbulent Boundary Layer. Paul is a Wyoming native, having grown up in Riverton and completed his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering here at the University of Wyoming. Paul graduated in the Summer 2006 with is Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
