Marinos Doctoral Fellowship in Fluid Mechanics



The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wyoming is offering the Marinos Doctoral Fellowship in fluid mechanics. Applications are sought from students with exceptional academic qualifications who are interested in pursuing a PhD degree in one of the following areas:
• computational fluid dynamics for aerospace
• experimental flow physics & control
• wind energy

Information about current research projects in the Mechanical Engineering department at the University of Wyoming can be found at the web page: http://wwweng.uwyo.edu/mechanical/research/. The fellowship includes a tuition and fee waiver and a $30,000 stipend for the first year of graduate study. Minimum qualifications include a grade point average of 3.5/4.0, or equivalent, and a minimum GRE score of 760 (quantitative). For applicants whose first language is not English, a minimum TOEFL score of 587 (PBT), 95 (iBT) is required.
