Professor K. Nakahashi of Tohoku University visits UW

On August 25, Professor Kazuhiro Nakahashi, an expert in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Tohoku University (Japan) visited the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Professor Nakahashi is a Fellow of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Japan Society of Fluid Mechanics, a Councilor of the Japan Society of Aeronautical & Space Sciences, and an Associate Fellow of AIAA. During his visit, he had the opportunity to discuss research topics of mutual interest with Professor Mavriplis and his group. Prof. Nakahashi also presented a technical seminar which can be seen here as a pdf file.
