Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory
The research interest in this laboratory is in rotating and/or stratified fluids, with an application to geophysical scale flows in the ocean and atmosphere. The specialized equipment includes a high precision rotating table, and tow stratified tow-facilities. A variety of flow visualization techniques are used as well as hot film anemometry.
