U.S. Department of Education funded project on Cooperative Education Programs with Industry. Established the University of Wyoming Utility Consortium and the Wyoming Electric Motor Training and Testing Center for utility oriented applied problem solving. U.S. Department of Energy funded ongoing projects on energy conservation and electric motor efficiency improvements for industries.
