Areas of Expertise: Automatic Control, Instrumentation Systems, Signal Processing, Science/Technology Education

Current research activities are focused in the following areas:

  1. enhancement of undergraduate engineering education,
  2. electronics for nonthermal plasma applications in chemical processing,
  3. applications of remote in-situ instrumentation (e.g. avalanche infrasonics)
  4. electronic relative-locating systems for cooperative robotic swarms,
  5. applied signal processing (see the MATLAB Prony ToolBox),
  6. analysis and modeling of storage area networks,
  7. precision pointing and vibration isolation with Stewart-Gough platforms.
