Thinking and Doing Math and Science Through Hands-on Applications in Engineering


(Summer 2007)

Are you looking for an opportunity to integrate Math, Science and Engineering into your K-12 curriculum?

This summer the University of Wyoming Colleges of Education and Engineering and the Science and Mathematics Teaching Center are providing the Thinking & Doing Math and Science through Engineering Workshop 2007. 

    When: July 2007
    Where: University of Wyoming, Laramie , Wyoming
    Cost: 2 hours Graduate Credit is available for the graduate tuition fee, Lodging is provided as well as a $1000 stipend available for each participant.
    What: Modules supported by classroom kits. (Past modules included: Applications of geometry in map reading using a GPS, coding and cryptography, LOGO programming, robotics, and digital electronics)

Activities aligned with Wyoming Math and Science State Standards.
Activities for K-6 and 6-12 programs.

Preference will be given to applicants who have not participated in past years.
