Program Overview: Prestressing plants around the nation are developing self consolidating concrete mixtures, especially for bridge girders. State engineers need material properties prior to approval of these new materials. The University of Wyoming is working with prestressed concrete producers to determination these properties, especially the long term creep and shrink age characteristics.
