Specialization: Disturbed lands reclamation, wetlands, soil erosion and conservation, flow in porous media, hydraulics and irrigation, and environmental engineering (non-point).

Current Research: Constructed wetlands for treatment of acid mine drainage. Reclamation of disturbed lands. Erosion and sedimentation.
